Service Description
This comprehensive Birth Doula Support Package is designed to provide you with the support, guidance, and reassurance you need throughout your pregnancy, home birth, and immediate postpartum period. From our prenatal visits where we discuss your birth preferences to continuous support during labour, I'll be with you every step of the way. My role is to ensure you feel empowered, informed, and comforted as you bring your baby into the world. After your birth, I'll continue supporting you with postpartum visits, newborn care resources, and helpful local community connections. This package is all about helping you feel confident, calm, and supported during one of the most transformative experiences of your life. *exclusively supporting planned home births* What's included: Prenatal Visits Birth Preference/Plan Discussion Text & Phone Support On-Call Labour & Birth Support starting at 38wks On-Going Support during Labour Emotional & Practical Support in the Event of a Transfer 90 minute Postpartum Support (Immediately after childbirth) Two Postpartum Visits (First 6wks postpartum) Newborn Care Information Booklet Access to my Lending Library Local Resource List **Note: When requesting a booking please select your due date on the booking calendar.**
Cancellation Policy
Cancellation, Rescheduling, and Booking Deposit Policy We know that life can be unpredictable, but in order to continue offering dedicated care and attention to all of our clients, we've established the following booking policy: Booking Deposit: A deposit of $50 is required at the time of booking your appointment. This deposit secures your appointment and goes towards the total cost of your session. (Deposit is to be e-transferred to alycia@nurturingandnesting.com) Cancellation or Rescheduling within 72 Hours: If you need to cancel or reschedule, you may do so within 72 hours or your scheduled session without penalty, and the deposit will remain credited toward your next session. You may reschedule online. Late Cancellation, or No-Shows: If you cancel, reschedule, or do not show up within 72 hours of your scheduled appointment, the deposit will be forfeited. If you reschedule after this period, a new deposit will be required to confirm the new appointment. Emergency Situations: We understand that emergencies and unexpected events can happen. If you find yourself needing to cancel or reschedule due to an emergency, please contact us as soon as possible. We will do our best to accommodate your situation and discuss rescheduling options. A new deposit may still be required, depending on the circumstances. We truly value your time and ours, and this policy ensures that we can continue offering the highest level of support to you and other clients. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.
